i thought the ground school was fantastic but i was even happier with the exam prep. the practice exams really helped me. i would definitely recommend level flight to anyone looking to get a ppl. thank you

I really enjoyed the course and found all of the information very useful in expanding my knowledge of aviation. I especially like how I was able to go through it at my own pace. Over all very enjoyable experience.

Level Flight is an amazing tool, top notch. The ground school and exam prep are very engaging and easy to follow. The style the exam prep uses helps retain information a lot! Wish I had discovered Level flight sooner.

Really happy with Level Flight. I'm glad I went with LF instead of in-person ground school, since I can learn at any time I choose. I work a full time job currently, so having the flexibility to complete the modules on my own time was super convenient. Also, the resources are very good. It's great that there are practice quizzes on the topics, so that you can actually test yourself and see what you're retaining and what you need to work on more. You also track your progress as you complete each module, which gives you a sense of reward for completing modules and quizzes. The videos and voice-over tutorials are also great for learning, since you can always re-watch them, which you obviously can't do in-person.

Overall great experience! I love how Level Flight simplifies the everything you'd be learning if you only read the books and I especially like this because I'm a visual learner myself and struggle with having to learn by only reading whatever material comes my way.

Overall the course was very helpful and was nice to be able to go at my own pace. The resources and video portions were very helpful. Overall I'm glad I did the ground school on Level Flight as opposed to in a classroom.

I took the CPAER course and was taught not just the information I needed to know but also where to find it for myself later. I appreciated the framework I was given for understanding aviation pilot information. I successfully passed the commercial ground exam with an 89% score after finishing this course.
Tyler responded quickly to my emails and calls and was very helpful. As Level Flight continues to grow, I am confident they could become one of the best online learning sites for pilots.

Level Flight is an excellent way to do ground school online. It would have been very difficult for me to attend regular classes, and this course allowed me to do it at my own pace. The lessons are well organized, and there are lots of great videos. Also lots of practice questions. It prepared me very well for both my ROC-A, PSTAR and PPAER final written exam!

I started with the Rusty Wings course through Level Flight in order to get myself confidently back into flying which meant writing the PSTAR (again) and CAR 421.05 Flight Review.
Being impressed with the content and structure of the course, Level Flight was on the top of my list when I decided that I wanted to finish my Commercial Licence which I had started many years earlier and never got around to finishing.
Being that I wasn't going to be taking a CPL Ground School at an actual flight school as there would have been no way of working such a structured course into my work schedule I needed a self paced delivery method. This course allowed me to go through all the required areas at my own pace and kept me engaged in the process. I particularly enjoyed the A.I. Learning Modules and I'll be making good use of them as a final review prior to writing the CPAER exam.
When the time comes for me to do my Instrument Rating I'm sure I'll be purchasing the Level Flight course!

I really enjoyed how this course was put delivered. It had excellent study and learning flow. All of the links worked and I was able to proceed along smoothly thru the lessons and using the associated materials - From the Ground Up. My favourite section was the Navigation. I was rusty on the E6 B and now feel I can use it on the go.

Overall great experience. The PPL ground school course has everything you need and more. It supplements what I've been learning in the air really well and overall makes me more comfortable, and more importantly, safer. I would definitely recommend the PPL ground school course to others!

I haven't flown in 30 years so I took the Rusty Wings course and it was laid out beautifully. It all came back and set me up for success.
And whenever I needed help it was there right away.

Great experience with Level Flight for my PPL ground school, passed the PPAER and felt prepared going into it. I really enjoyed how easy it was to navigate backwards through units when I was studying after completing the course.

This course was great and with it being online it really helped with my busy schedule! The lessons are engaging with videos, interactive parts and reading. Tyler was easy/quick to get in touch with and helped me through any of my problems. Thanks level flight!

Very helpful and knowledgeable. I love the video as they are short and easy to follow. This helps me because I'm a visual learners and find it hard to read a lot and remember. Would recommend this to anyone

Over all really good experiece using the service! It's very uniquie compared to other ground school progams. Staff were always helful and quick to respond. My constructive feedback retains around the tests and unit exams.

1). A quick audit of the unit questions in the review sections may be needed specifically in the weather modules. I found a couple of instances where questions had wrong information, had the answer in the question, or the available answers were all incorrect.

2). I think it could be really heklful if you were able to add a module of written nav/ any calculation questions where it would let the student work out it, get it wrong, assess where they made the mistake and let them try again without seeing the answer yet. Most pilots learn by doing and walking through the steps that we don't fully know will really strengthen the learning.

I found the course very helpful overall. I do have a couple of suggestions:

When a video is opened in full-screen or enlarged view, two sets of control bars appear. This makes it easy to accidentally click the course audio controls instead of the video controls when trying to pause or adjust the playback position.(e.g. 6.3 magneto, 7.3 Flight Controls etc.)

The screenshot function in the top-right corner of the videos does not seem to work. It would be a useful feature to capture important information, so it is a bit unfortunate that it is currently unavailable.

The course is overall very helpful and insightful especially the knowledge checks really help reinforce the overall memory of potential questions that may appear on the actual exam.

finished the ROC-A studying and my thought for some room for improvement. would be to one, add the study reading sections for each mod in the beginning of the section and second have a voice over to help with the flow of learning. A bonus to push it over the edge is to maybe have some AI radio calls to try to practice real world calls.

Its not bad, I really love the aids that are being used and its well presented. But I dislike the interactions where it doesn't have a voice over. I always need someone to read this for me and having those interaction button not having a voice over kills me. So I just had AI to do it for me instead. Overall, it seems pretty straightforward and overall lessons are good.

I had a few setbacks due to personal life (had a child) but Level flight was easy to jump back into where i left off along with review the previous content that i had already been through. Excited to be back on track to completion on my PPL and see where the future takes my aviation career!

I have taken the CPL course and successfully passed the exam with 80+%. The course content is clear, complete and precise. I have used avidly the Adaptive Exam Prep which allowed me to be prepared for the test. The team provided support quickly when I needed. I recommend, to increase your chances, to combine the Level Flight content with another source, to work on several banks of questions and be fully prepared.

I thought the course was very well thought out and well layed out. There is a ton of information to learn and this made it easy and provided it in a enjoyable format while providing what needed to be taught. I enjoyed it alot

I'm not sure I fully understood why some of the material was laid out in the order it was(Canadian Aviation Weather) but it all came together in the end.

Overall pretty good. Some lessons were almost over repetitive of others, and the volume on some videos was very low and difficult to hear. Besides that, overall enjoyable experience.

Ya dun a gud job! If I might add, Tyler, you have a superb teaching voice and demeanor. Hell, with that voice you could be a TV anchor! As for the male and the female whose voices predominated the modules, their's were a bit lacking. Briefly, I conclude they each have absolutely no pilot training -or interest- and were simply reading from a script. Oh, well, they got me through it with no technical shortcomings.

Fantastic ground school courses! I used LevelFlight for both my PPL and CPL ground school and had a great experience, passing both written exams first try. The courses provided in-depth information with clear and concise explanations and were organized in a very easy to follow structure. Prompt and helpful customer support for anything from technical issues to questions on material. Highly recommend.

Great course and easy to follow. Passed the Canadian Basic Drone Exam with ease following the course. My only tiny comment is that they could use a proofreader - there are typos on literally every page! However, this doesn't detract from the excellence of the materials and the enjoyability of the course!

I think if there were a "cheat sheet" table of how to say numbers in various situations it would be helpful. e.g. Cloud height, Altitude, Field elevations - here's how to say numbers <1000, >1000 for each

Level Flight has a responsive and adaptive staff, and their program itself even saw some adaptations in my time. I was impressed at their desire to improve their courses, and to make the experience as interactive as possible for me. Even in transitions between platforms, they really made sure I was taken care of. It basically doesn’t feel like a website… there’s actual people!

I have done a lot of post-secondary studies online, and found Level Flight to follow a similar approach. For example, the materials throughout the course gave me insights beyond the textbooks, but also gave me enough foundation before reading the textbook, along with instructor/tutor connection.

I have really enjoyed Level Flight! I can’t wait for their CPL course!

This is simply the best ground school program in Canada. I started my flight training in 2001 and completed standard classroom ground school, which took up my weekends for a few months. Then I completed ground school with the Air Force, a program based on high tech e-learning. It was a phenomenal program, and an experience I tried to find outside the Air Force. Despite trying every available option in Canada I could not find something that was as educational, polished and easy to use, as what the RCAF offered. That is until I was given early access to preview this program from Level Flight. It is Game Changing. Absolutely the best ground school program I have seen. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to learn to fly.

PPL ground school is very thorough and easy to navigate. My favourite part of the program though is the virtual cockpit, it allows you to practice running checklists from home and without the steep aircraft rental fee. I am a commercial student and will continue to use this program to stay sharp on weather days.
