I been struggling with ground school for last few years and used to be with pilottraining.ca and studied their contents throughly multiple times but had hard time to really grab the knowledge; I was searching a new ground school and come acorss the levelflight’s ground school so I took a sample course and enrolled right away, I like how the contents are organized according to the 4 chapters of the exam: air law, general knowledge, meteorology and navigation, meanwhile the way the contents presented to you is concise and in an interactive way (audio, text and video); Not to mention Tyler is always responsive to answer any questions iin timely manner. with 60 hours of ground school at levelflight combining a sharper edge PPL prep book I scored 85% in my written exam! I started with the Rusty Wings course through Level Flight in order to get myself confidently back into flying which meant writing the PSTAR (again) and CAR 421.05 Flight Review.
Being impressed with the content and structure of the course, Level Flight was on the top of my list when I decided that I wanted to finish my Commercial Licence which I had started many years earlier and never got around to finishing.
Being that I wasn't going to be taking a CPL Ground School at an actual flight school as there would have been no way of working such a structured course into my work schedule I needed a self paced delivery method. This course allowed me to go through all the required areas at my own pace and kept me engaged in the process. I particularly enjoyed the A.I. Learning Modules and I'll be making good use of them as a final review prior to writing the CPAER exam.
When the time comes for me to do my Instrument Rating I'm sure I'll be purchasing the Level Flight course!

I really enjoyed how this course was put delivered. It had excellent study and learning flow. All of the links worked and I was able to proceed along smoothly thru the lessons and using the associated materials - From the Ground Up. My favourite section was the Navigation. I was rusty on the E6 B and now feel I can use it on the go.

Overall great experience. The PPL ground school course has everything you need and more. It supplements what I've been learning in the air really well and overall makes me more comfortable, and more importantly, safer. I would definitely recommend the PPL ground school course to others!

I haven't flown in 30 years so I took the Rusty Wings course and it was laid out beautifully. It all came back and set me up for success.
And whenever I needed help it was there right away.

Great experience with Level Flight for my PPL ground school, passed the PPAER and felt prepared going into it. I really enjoyed how easy it was to navigate backwards through units when I was studying after completing the course.

This course was great and with it being online it really helped with my busy schedule! The lessons are engaging with videos, interactive parts and reading. Tyler was easy/quick to get in touch with and helped me through any of my problems. Thanks level flight!

Very helpful and knowledgeable. I love the video as they are short and easy to follow. This helps me because I'm a visual learners and find it hard to read a lot and remember. Would recommend this to anyone

Fantastic ground school courses! I used LevelFlight for both my PPL and CPL ground school and had a great experience, passing both written exams first try. The courses provided in-depth information with clear and concise explanations and were organized in a very easy to follow structure. Prompt and helpful customer support for anything from technical issues to questions on material. Highly recommend.

Great course and easy to follow. Passed the Canadian Basic Drone Exam with ease following the course. My only tiny comment is that they could use a proofreader - there are typos on literally every page! However, this doesn't detract from the excellence of the materials and the enjoyability of the course!

I think if there were a "cheat sheet" table of how to say numbers in various situations it would be helpful. e.g. Cloud height, Altitude, Field elevations - here's how to say numbers <1000, >1000 for each

Very informative PPL course along with the mock cockpit really helps with the studying.
The practice exams are important to help prepare for the Transport Canada exam questions.
The owner Tyler is also a nice guy and if you have any questions or concerns he is able to reply quickly.

Level Flight has a responsive and adaptive staff, and their program itself even saw some adaptations in my time. I was impressed at their desire to improve their courses, and to make the experience as interactive as possible for me. Even in transitions between platforms, they really made sure I was taken care of. It basically doesn’t feel like a website… there’s actual people!

I have done a lot of post-secondary studies online, and found Level Flight to follow a similar approach. For example, the materials throughout the course gave me insights beyond the textbooks, but also gave me enough foundation before reading the textbook, along with instructor/tutor connection.

I have really enjoyed Level Flight! I can’t wait for their CPL course!

This is simply the best ground school program in Canada. I started my flight training in 2001 and completed standard classroom ground school, which took up my weekends for a few months. Then I completed ground school with the Air Force, a program based on high tech e-learning. It was a phenomenal program, and an experience I tried to find outside the Air Force. Despite trying every available option in Canada I could not find something that was as educational, polished and easy to use, as what the RCAF offered. That is until I was given early access to preview this program from Level Flight. It is Game Changing. Absolutely the best ground school program I have seen. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to learn to fly.

PPL ground school is very thorough and easy to navigate. My favourite part of the program though is the virtual cockpit, it allows you to practice running checklists from home and without the steep aircraft rental fee. I am a commercial student and will continue to use this program to stay sharp on weather days.
